The Villa was even more beautiful than advertised. We were a group of eight adults and three young children and had an absolutely wonderful time during our week long vacation at the Yelapa Casa Sanctuary. The Villa was large enough so that everyone had plenty of space and was very nicely decorated. When we were at the Villa we spent most of our days and evenings around the pool and papala areas.
The staff was absolutely outstanding and provided everything we could have wanted. Miguel and Melaina are both exceptional and worked so hard to provide excellent stay! They went well beyond what we had hoped for. The Villa was always kept nice and clean and it was very much appreciated.
The walk down the steps to the beach was fine, however, the walk back up was fairly challenging for grandpa! lol These were very minor concerns when considering the whole package. We were very pleased with the accommodations. Brett booked our activities around the area and offered us help with some of the other tours we did and it was all greatly appreciated!
We hope to be back next year!

We could not believe this home when we got there it was so much more than even expected. We have stayed at other rentals in Yelapa and this one was the nicest by far. Mainly because It has all the old world charm but the owners did a very good job adding all the new world amenities. I could go on forever this yelapa house rental was a dream come true. We could walk to everything a very short distance away. There is so much room to this dream home with a view you can't imagine.

I'm hooked on Yelapa, Mexico and love this rental house in Yelapa. It is the best rental in Yelapa in my opinion.
Every year we consider where to vacation and just keep coming back to Yelapa! Casa Sanctuary's living room, entertaining area and kitchen area is all open air and the beautiful weather and breeze is so nice. With the layout of the house's it really brings the outdoor and jungle in! The location and amenities of the two houses are perfect and relaxed. Our only downside this year was being there during Easter break. Beaches were pretty packed. Solution... spending time at the lovely private pool on the property. Gorgeous views and some quiet solitude. Great sunbathing and time for reading a good book. Did a lot of reading while there and swapped out a couple of books. Nice little collection for reading in your quiet time. Always great assistance from the staff when needed and of course the daily maid service was wonderful. Already planning our next trip to Yelapa.
I highly recommend Casa Sanctuary.

If you have visited Yelapa before then you know it is nice to have a house with a good location. One of the best things about Casa Sanctuary in Yelapa was where this property was located. Minutes from the beach was a huge plus for our group. The house its self is located above hotel Lagunita in Yelapa overlooking the entire beach area. We had a large group with us and the house is ideal for entertaining. If you like laying around on the beach this is your place, not that laying poolside was bad but we are beach bums. You are situated with a perfect view of the bay of Yelapa and ideal for sunsets. Certainly would recommend Casa Sanctuary Yelapa house rental.

We noramaly stay in Puerto Vallarta and this was our first family vacation to Yelapa. We had been told that Yelapa is very dog friendly and we specifically needed a Yelapa rental that accepts pets. So after researching we liked the looks of Casa Sanctuary and opted for choosing this location. We were extremely satisfied. Walk down a couple flights of stairs and you are on the beach! The house was also equipped with some beach toys which we never used other than the beach towels. The beaches are lined with chairs, chaises and umbrellas for your use by the various restaurants who will serve you drinks and/or food while there. The staff at Casa Sanctuary Yelapa was very helpful, especially Miguel with whom we visited a number of times. The maid service was also very good.
Beds were very very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with everything you need (except food of course). We spent lots of time on the terrace having morning coffee or evening cocktails. View was gorgeous! We loved our stay and would definitely book this Yelapa rental again.

My partner and I stayed at Casa Sanctuary in January, and the villa truly lived up to its name. While not located directly on the waterfront, it has spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean while being nestled in lush jungle, amid the sounds and sights of tropical birds. Set into the hill of Yelapa the property thus has the advantage of peace, quiet, and security, as well as dramatic views.
Both the house and grounds are large, and we loved the pool, little alcoves, and balconies on all sides, which gave us lots to discover. To top it off, Miquel and the rest of the villa staff were absolutely wonderful! Truly lovely and kind people!
This Yelapa location is also a perfect balance between pueblo life and relaxation. Take advantage of the stunning Yelapa Beach, located a short walk down the hill from the villa. One of most beautiful beaches in the region, its white sand, and clear, calm turquoise water makes it feel like a pacific Caribbean!
We would definitely recommend this house, and hope to be back in the future!

We just returned from a 9 day stay at Chasity and Brett's lovely house for rent in Yelapa, Jalisco, Mexico. It is situated above Hotel Lagunita, just a couple minute walk from the beach. We have visited Yelapa on several occasions and this Yelapa rental happens to be our favorite. The views are amazing. You can see the whole pueblo of Yelapa, out to the point and even the river. Sunsets are out of this world. Our family spent most of the time at the house enjoying the pool when we weren't at the beach or out exploring the town. There is a kitchen that has all of the things you would need (minus the food of course). We did use their concierge service though and had groceries delivered to the house. You are so close to everything!
From the time we arrived their staff was friendly and helped out the few times we needed something. The maid service was great and had the house looking perfect throughout our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend Casa Sanctuary in Yelapa for a family or large groups the place is GREAT. Our next visit to Yelapa we will be staying at Casa Sanctuary!

We are a group of eight who travel to Yelapa a lot. We have rented various properties over the years and this was the first time we stayed at Casa Sanctuary house rental in Yelapa. We were amazed at how beautiful it was. The first thing that impressed us was the warm welcome we received from Miguel, the manager, and his wife Melaina the maid. They were so sincerely warm and helpful. We felt at home in Yelapa paradise home from the moment we got there.
When we arrived in Yelapa Miguel took us to a tienda (store) then up the hill to the beautiful house. No hassles at all. The house was gorgeous and spotless, with plenty of cold drinking water. Every day we sat out on the patio and marveled at the amazing ocean and jungle view. It took us back in time to a simpler, most peaceful time. It was minutes to the beach and an easy walking distance to the Yelapa Pueblo, waterfalls and everywhere we wanted to go.
One of the highlights was the magnificent meal Melaina made for us for a very reasonable price. She made a Mexican feast with fresh fish, beans, guacamole, rice, tortillas, salsa and a very refreshing, fresh juice smoothie. The price was very low, and she is so precious and sweet.
The rooms are adorable with colorful artwork and bedding, all immaculate. The kitchen is huge with everything you might want to prepare all kinds of food. We highly recommend having Melaina cook, however, and next time we will utilize her services more. She is a gem.
We sincerely felt we were part of the Yelapa culture staying at Casa Sanctuary. It was so much nicer than staying at any hotel where you feel like a tourist or some of the other houses we have rented. Walking up and down the quaint, cobblestone paths we encountered many very friendly people who greeted us warmly. I cried the day we left because a big part of me stayed in my beautiful Mexico at my home away from home in paradise. We all agree that this beautiful home in paradise is an oasis in the middle of one of the most beautiful places on earth. Highly recommend.
All communication was great, and damage deposit was refunded completely in a timely manner.
Thanks Chasity and Brett for opening your lovely home.

Casa Sanctuary is a classic, beautiful, Mexican home with tons of charm. It is on two levels, with the main living level on the first floor and an awesome patio/palapa. The views from the living and patio areas are wonderful - I spent most of my time there where I saw many iguanas and tropical birds (binoculars were included!). Casa Sanctaury in Yelapa is on the edge of the playa side of town and in a safe feeling area. Because of Casa Sanctuary's location, we were close to the beach, the pueblo, many excellent restaurants, and to the water taxis off the pier. After a long day at the beach and/or exploring, it was always sooo nice to come home to Casa Sanctuary!
Thanks so much Brett & Chasity!

We had the best time in Yelapa, Mexico. We spent quite a bit of time researching Yelapa and Yelapa rentals prior to coming as this was our first trip. We decided to stay at Casa Sanctuary for our Yelapa vacation. The accommodations were perfect for us. First and foremost, the location is right on the above the ocean about 200 steps. We slept with the windows open and were lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves. Evenings were spent either at then house, on the beach or a stroll into the Yelapa pueblo listening to the live music at the famous Yacht Club. The kitchen had everything that we needed though we found many restaurants to eat the local food in Yelapa.
One thing that was very appreciated was the concierge service when we made our reservation. Though we always felt safe in PV we had never been to Yelapa. The house had a security system and a bodega (safe) for valuables. Also, there was housekeeping service everyday so we really felt pampered.
Our activities were based on Brett's suggestions. (Thanks Brett!) We reserved a boat for the day and did a trip to Chimo for all you can eat lobster, shrimp and coronas! We also went fishing, snorkeling hiked to a waterfall, drank margaritas and ate a scrumptious lunch on the beach.
If you like pie be sure to ask for the Yelapa Pie Lady. She walks the beach and has the best fresh pie.
Brett and Chasity's house is amazing.
Thanks again, we will be back for sure!!
